Wichitan Dies After Long Illness
Sigel H. McDaniel, 80, of 907 Coolidge St., died in Halstead Hospital Saturday after a long illness. He had lived in Wichita 17 years.
Born March 19, 1874, in Indiana, he moved to Kansas in 1903 and settle in the Sedgwick and Bentley communities before coming to Wichita in 1931.
He married Elizabeth C. Badenhoop of Sedgwick, Dec. 24, 1907.
Survivors include the widow; three sons, three brothers, one sister and 10 grandchildren.
The sons are Roy S., Little Rock, Ark.; Harold B., Wichita Rt. 7, and Earl C., Sedgwick Rt. 1.
Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, has charge of arrangements.
