Orville L. Cox 84, a resident of 207 Front St passed away in a Mineral Wells Nursing home at 8:15 AM July 12, 1961. Born Feb 1, 1877 near Adell in Parker County, he lived all his life in Tex. Survivors include two daughters Mrs Leonard Howard of Bridge City, Texas and Mrs Maude McDuff of Port Arthur, Texas, one Sister Myrtle McClanahan of Ft. Worth and one grandchild. Services will be held at 10 AM Friday morning at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel with Rev Luther Towels officiating. Internment will be in City Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers are C. B. Smith, Joe Walker, J. J. Foster, Bobby Tipton, Willie Tipton, Curtis McDaniel. From Obit Weatherford Democrat July 12 & 13, 1961.
