Daughter of Bernard Mullen and Ann Kane, wife of John Hannon, the son of John Hannon and Sally, and mother of James C. Hannon. Sister of James and Patrick Mullen, and four sisters and brothers living in Ireland.

Marriage - Kane—Hannon - At 12 o'clock noon on Tuesday John Kane of Calverton and Mrs. Elizabeth Hannon of Yaphank were united in marriage at St. John's R. C. Church here. Rev. William C. Reilly officiating. The bride was attended by her sister- in-law, Mrs. Patrick Mullin, of Sayville. as matron of honor. Patrick Mullin, a brother of the bride, attended the groom as best man. The-bride was attired in a pretty blue silk gown trimmed in Irish point lace. Mr. and Mrs. Kane will reside at Calverton , where Mr. Kane is a farmer. — Riverhead News.

Obituary - Village of Patchogue - Deaths - Elizabeth H. Kane, aged 85, of Yaphank, at South Shore Convalescent Home.

Estate - Elizabeth Hannan Kane of Yaphank, who died Jan 6, left an estate valued at $1302 in personal property. According to the petition filed in Surrogate's Court, Riverhead, the decedent possessed no real property when she died. The will, however, which was executed in 1937 distributed several parcels of real estate. The testatrix 's husband, John Kane, was given life use of the home place and a nine and three-quarter acre farm at Yaphank as well as a joint bank account, but he died before the death of the testatrix. Other bequests include bank stock and money remaining alter payment of legacies and funeral administration expenses and 15 acres of land at Yaphank to a son, James C. Hannan of Rockville Centre; $50 to Sarah A Donahue of Calverton, granddaughter; $25 each to Eleanora T., John T. and Daniel G. Donahue of Calverton and to Mildred E Gatz of Aquebogue, grandchildren. The remainder interest in the estate goes to James C. Hannan and he is named executor.
