Miller - At the family residence, near Salisbury, Thursday afternoon Nov. 2, 1899, of typhoid fever, John A. Miller, aged 77 years.
Mr. Miller was born and reared in Salisbury township and is well known throughout Sangamon County. He is survived by his widow and one daughter, Mrs. Calista Sanders of Salisbury, and three sons, Alvin, Morris and Harvey Miller who reside near Salisbury. Mr. Miller was a devoted member of the Christian church. The services will be conducted by the Rev. M. R. Elder and the remains will be interred in the Salisbury cemetery.
