Dosha Hurt Blevins, 100 years of age, the daughter of the late Matthew Hurt and Lola Dobbs Hurt departed this life on Wednesday, August 13th, 2008 at the Golden Years Nursing Home in Monticello, Kentucky. She was born on July 24th, 1908 in Wayne County, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ezra Blevins and her son, Doug Blevins.
She was survived by three grandchildren, Sonya McCauly, Delanna Stephens and Jonathan Blevins; the five great grandchildren, Amanda West, Jessica Stephens, Ian and Jenna McCauley and Zoe Blevins.
Visitations were held on Friday, August 15th, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Hoyt G. Hickey and Son Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held on Saturday morning, August 16th, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Hoyt G. Hickey and Son Funeral Home.
Burial followed in the Elk Spring Cemetery in Monticello, Kentucky.
