Reynold Charles Smith, 59, 1422 Cheyenne St. died Tuesday, 6;05 p.m. at his home of heart ailment

Born Jan, 19, 1900 Frontier, Wyo.,a son of Charles C. and Rachel Griffiths Smith. Married Catherine Marie Wardle, October 1930, Green River, Wyo. She preceded him in death.

Was a Warehouse man for Pacific Fruit and Produce. Member of the Cannon Fifth Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Survivors; two sons and three daughter; Charles DeRoy, Casper, Wyo.; Melvin Rey, with U.S. Navy, serving at sea; Miss Catherine L. and Miss Verna Jean Smith, Mrs. Darlene Stout, all of Salt Lake City; three brothers, Edward L., Farmington; Robert L., Miami, Ariz.; Raymond, Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister, Mrs. Alice Snow, Salt Lake City.

Funeral to be announced from mortuary at 260 E. South Temple.

Grave side services for Reynold C. Smith, 59, of Salt Lake City were held in Mountain View cemetery here Saturday, May 2. Mr. Smith died the preceding Tuesday of a heart attack at his home.

He was born Jan. 19, 1900, in Frontier and as a young man lived there and in Rock Springs. In October of 1930 he married Marie Wardle of Green River who preceded him in death. The family left Rock Springs in 1934.

Survivors are two sons and three daughters, Charles D. Smith of Casper, Melvin who is serving with the navy, Catherine L. Verna J. Smith and Mrs. Darlene Stout, all of Salt Lake City.
