Funeral for Mrs. Belle M. Barnes, 84, Decatur 1, who died Saturday at Parkway Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Clardy Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, William C. Bankston, Hartselle, Charles H. Bankston, Marietta, Ga.; two daughters, Mrs. Rosie Burden, Hillsboro, Mrs. Mary Ellen Sparks, Decatur; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Mrs. Barnes was a member of the Piney Chapel Church of Christ. Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 2 until 9 p.m.

Belle was laid to rest between her first and second husbands. Belle's second husband's memorial page #43328566 was in Clardy, but now his remains have been reinterred in Roselawn Gardens of Memory in Decatur, Morgan, AL.
