Services were Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 2 p.m. at Albertville Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Lyle Darnell and Kenneth Lasseter officiating. Burial followed at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Arverlene Wilks Brooks, of Albertville; sons, Jerry (Laura) Brooks, of Arkansas, Jearl (Jane) Brooks, and Ricky (Teresa) Brooks, all of Painter; daughter, Tresia (Lynn) Harper, of Alaska; brothers, Walter (Christine) Brooks, of Valley Head, Ernest (Emma) Brooks, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Perry Jr. (Marie) Brooks, of Arkansas; sister, Cleo Snow, of Arkansas; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
