Mrs McDermott was born Sept 18, 1817, in New Jersey, and was married there to Captain John B McDermott. They removed to this state fifty-seven years ago. She was the mother of thirteen children, five of whom survive her. They are: ES McDermott, 503 South New Street; JB McDermott, Minnie McDermott and Henrietta McDermott of Curran, and Mrs RN Watts, 600 West Monroe street, city.
The funeral will occur Sunday morning at 11 o'clock at the house, and the internment will be made in Farmington cemetery.
