Mrs Nemmie Shumway Bird, 89, of Taylorville, died at 2:05pm Monday at the Smith Guest Home. Private funeral services will be at 1:30 today at Shafer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
Mrs Bird is survived by one son, Shumway J Bird, Washington DC; one daughter, Mrs Genevieve Redparh, Huntsville, Ala; one sister, Mrs Genevieve Keller, Taylorville, and four grandchildren.
