NICHOLAS - Services for Irvin E. Nichols will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Sumner-Volles Funeral Chapel, 2124 Main Street, Sumner, with the Rev. Leonard C. Brown officiating. Interment Sumner Cemetery.

Irvin E. Nicholas, 77, of 8010 River Road, Puyallup, died at his home Saturday evening.
He was born in Mallard, Iowa, and had been a resident of the Puyallup, Enumclaw, Buckley and Sumner areas since 1922.
Mr. Nicholas was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sumner.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Viola Carlen, of Buckley, and Eleanora Stone, of Puyallup; three grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren.
Services are announced by the Sumner-Voiles Funeral Chapel, Sumner.

He married Ruth Vinette Hubbell on 18 Jan 1911.
