Was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority at USC. She remained very active with the sorority the rest of her life and would attend the Theta convention every year.
Very involved with the American Red Cross for many years.
Loved to work in the garden of her bungalow at 8901 Rosewood Avenue in what is now West Hollywood.
Died of lung cancer at Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Angeles.
Ashes are interred in a niche located next to the crypts of her brother and sister-in-law.
