Sallie Oliver Wall, wife of Alexander S Wall, was born 19 Jan 1846 and died in Jacksonville,TX on 14 Aug 1955. She was the daughter of John Oliver and Sarah Doss. She married Alexander S Wall, a pioneer in the restaurant business, in Paris, Texas. They had children: Maggie, Fannie, Beulah, Lacy, and Bonnibel. She also had step sons, Manson, Edwin, Virgil, Henry, and a step daughter, Daisey Wall. Sallie Oliver Wall is buried next to her husband in Evergreen Cemetery in Paris Texas.

From the records of Lamar #258 United Daughters of the Confederacy: Awarded Cross of Military Service on June 7, 1904, Alexander S Wall served as Private, Co. C, 5th Regiment, Mississippi Cavalry Volunteers. His wife was Sallie Oliver Wall and their daughter was Maggie Wall Fox (Mrs. O.A. Fox), who was born 23 Aug 1895 in MS. *Alexander S. Wall received a pension #37410 from the State of Texas for his service in the Confederate Army. His wife, Sallie O. Wall received a pension #46164.
