Obituary from the Kanabec County Times of Feb. 13, 1947
Last Rites Held For Frank Anton Bell

Frank Anton Bell was born at Colony, Ill., on Nov. 23,1861. It was there that the early years of his life were spent. He moved with his parents to Garnett, Kansas where he lived many years and grew to manhood.

In 1889 at Garnett, Kansas he was married to Miss Evelyn Tucker of Greensburg, Indiana. Soon after their marriage he moved to Anthony, Kansas, which was his home until 1908, when he moved to the vicinity of Mora, settling in Pomroy township, which has since been his home.

His home was blessed by seven children, Bruce, Harry, John James, Lloyd L., Frank, Murray and Ruth.

Mr. Bell enjoyed unusually good health throughout his life until recent months. A few weeks ago he became seriously ill and passed away quite suddenly, at the home of his son, Bruce, Friday, January 31. He was preceded in death by his wife, who passed away six years ago, and by his son Lloyd, who died in Alaska, a few years ago.
The following children survive him: Bruce Bell of Peace township; Harry Bell of Pomroy township; John James of Minneapolis; Frank and Murray Bell, both of Alaska; Ruth, now Mrs. B. Gustafson, Duluth; fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Rev. Galbraith conducted services in the funeral chapel at Mora. Mrs. Quam and Mrs. Davis sang "Jesus Lover of My Soul", "Abide With Me", and "Rock of Ages". Mrs. George Lilienthal was the pianist. His three sons, Bruce, Harry and John, and his son in law Barnard Gustafson, were the pallbearers.

Those attending the funeral from afar were Mr. and Mrs. Barnard Gustafson and son, Ronald, of Duluth; Mr. and Mrs. John Bell and son, Harold, Mrs. Richard Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Michon, Miss Joann Bell and Franklin Bell, of Minneapolis.
