Mrs. Isabella Alexander Buried Here Last Week
Mrs. Isabelle Alexander, 65, died unexpectedly about 6:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan 29, at her home near Modale, Ia. Burial was made in the Bloomfield Cemetery Tuesday of last week, Feb. 2nd. She had been a former resident of this community, living here many years before moving to Modale.
She was the wife of Charles Alexander and had been a resident of that conmunity for about ten years.
She was born on Febuary 14, 1888, at Ponca, Nebraska.
Besides her husband , she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. A.E. Reynolds, Mondamin, Ia. , Mrs. George Farber, Omaha, and Bonnie, Alexander, Modale, Ia., six sons , Max Alexander, Mondamin, Ia. , Jack, Don, Duane, all of Portland, Oregon. Jim of Omaha, and Dean of Laramine, Wyo. There are also two brothers, Clarence Barber Bloomfield, Avery Barber of Monroe, Nebraska; two sisters, Mrs. Floyd Malone, Hot Springs, S.D. and Mrs. Hazel Griffith, San Antonio, Texas; also 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Hardy-__utesler Funeral Home in Missouri Valley. Ia.
