MRS. REBECCA FINK OF PLEASANT PLAINS SUMMONED
Was Born in Pennsylvania in 1842-Moved to Illinois in 1848-Married George Fink in 1875.
Fink-Died at 3:45 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon, May 6, 1913, at the residence in Pleasant Plains, of a complication of diseases, after a year's illness, Mrs. Rebecca Fink, wife of George H. Fink, aged 71 years.
Mrs. Fink was born in Lancaster, Pa., April 14, 1842, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Hayes, early settlers of Sangamon county, coming here in 1848. Upon coming to this state her father settled near Pleasant Plains, May 4, 1875 Rebecca Hayes was married to George W. Fink. She has been a consist member of the Methodist church and very active in church work.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edward L. Hurt of Pleasant Plains, and two sons, Edward A. Fink, supervisor of Cartwright township, and Dr. Frank C. Fink of Pleasant Plains.
The funeral will be held at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the residence, the Rev. D.L. York, pastor of the Methodist church, assisted by the Rev. W. C. Shafer, pastor of the Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Plains.
