Obituary - William M. Macaulay, 73, of 1 Cottage place, Bellport, died Monday while working on Raynor's lane, Bellport. Born in Scotland, he had lived in this vicinity for 50 years and was a carpenter by trade. He is survived by his wife, Ottilie Macaulay of Bellport; six daughters, Mrs. Mary Arthur of Bellport, Ottilie Lyons of Brookhaven, Mrs. Wilhelmina Morrell of Connecticut, Mrs. Helen Shepherd of Babylon, Mrs. Frances Horvath of Yonkers, and Mrs. Catherine Bailey of Massachusetts; a son, Archibald Macaulay of North Patchogue; a brother, Archibald Macaulay of Scotland; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. The body is reposing at the C.W. Ruland Sons Funeral Chapel, and services will be held there at 2 p.m. today, with the Rev. Herbert K. Robinson, pastor of the Patchogue Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Waverly Cemetery, Holtsville.
