Funeral Services for Mrs. Edward (Bessie) Collins, 91, who died at the Whaley Annex Tuesday, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 14, at the Weir-Cookes Funeral Home. The Reverends Glen Richard and Roscoe Townsend officiated.
Music was provided by Janet Newhall, organist, and Mrs. Royce Roth, soloist.
Bearers were Harold Harshbarger, Boyd Brown, Richard Bell, Earl Swartzendruber, William Rowe and Mahlon Wyse.
Burial was in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Collins is survived by one son, Bevin Collins of Mt. Pleasant; one step-daughter, Mrs. Howard (Blanche) Hallowell of Mt. Pleasant; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Plummer of San Diego, Calif.
