Mrs. Riney had worked in the housekeeping department of St. Joseph's Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa for several years.
Survivors include one son - Stephen Riney of Carthage, Illinois, two daughters - Amy (Jens) Notestein of Stronghurst, IL., Mary Ann (Ron) Martens of Warsaw, IL., nine grandchildren, one step grandson, eleven great grandchildren, and one brother - John (Marg) Pugh of Clarinda, Iowa. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers - "Zen", Jim, and Vern Pugh and four sisters - Opal Troll, Lois Warth, Midgey Pugh, and Esther Nelson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday September 13, 2008 in the Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Stronghurst with Rev. Ron Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery, St. Patrick, Missouri. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services. A memorial fund had been established for Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab in Stronghurst.
