Elisha was discharged as a 2nd Lieutenant on July 21, 1865 under Captain Thomas N. Robertson. Parents of Absalem and Elisha were, Samuel Bellmay Jones and Sarah "McCoy" Jones. Absalem died from wounds in battle at Atlanta, Georgia.
