MRS. HALPIN DIED AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Mrs. Gertrude Halpin, widow of Mr. George Halpin, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 7, 1953, at her home here on Main Street. Mrs. Halpin had been ill for a long time. She was 78 years of age.
She is survived by four sons; Walter, of Cookstown, John, William and George, of this place; 8 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held from her late residence on Saturday, July 11, 1953 at 9 A.M., with requiem mass at the Church of the Assumption. The Rev. Francis Coan will officiate. Interment will be made in the Church of the Assumption Cemetery, under the direction of W. H. Freeman & Son of Freehold. Friends may call on Friday evening, 7 to 9 P.M.
