Billie Bray McKenzie, 90, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014.
Private graveside service in the Llano Cemetery in Amarillo.
Billie was born September 27, 1923 in Turkey, Texas, daughter of the late J. Bernard and Lois M. McDaniel Bray. She was a resident of Amarillo from 1947 until 1989 when she moved to Fort Worth. She was member of the Methodist Church and loved art, painting in oils, and music, especially the piano.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady; son, Robert, daughter, Sara Sue Rombold; granddaughter, Cara Lynn McKenzie Gomez; and grandson, Michael Nelson McKenzie.
Survivors: Daughter, Kay McCord of Peoria, Illinois; daughter in law, Mary Michael McKenzie of Fort Worth; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
