Anna Bahm Groff, Jonestwon RD 1, died last evening at Hill Farm Nursing Home. She was 89. She was the widow of Adam Groff who died in 1951. Born in Austria, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Eva Keehn Bahm. She and her husband were farmers and attended the Sunset and Bethel markets for many years where they sold flower and vegetable plants. She is survived by her children: Jacob, Florida; Peter, Annville RD 2; Theresa, wife of Harry W Darkes, Jonestown RD 1, and Anna, wife of Andrew Hresko, Jonestown RD 2; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Two sons, Anthony and Adam, and a daughter, Catherine, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held this morning in the Strauss Funeral Home, Jonestown, for Anna Groff, widow of Adam Groff, Jonestown RD 1. Mass of Christian Burial was then celebrated in St Gertrude's Catholic Church, with the Rev John T Greaney, pastor, the celebrant. Interment was in St Gertrude's Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roger Krist, John Balog, Ralph Daub, Delmas Hernley, John Wentzel and William Boyer.
