Albannah (Bane) Higgins was my uncle, the son of Mamie and Sidney G. Higgins of Albion. He married Laura and they had a daughter, Barbara Jean and twin sons, Donald and David. They worked the farm they owned in Winslow until his tragic death when the tractor he was driving to pack corn in the silo flipped over trapping him with his head down in the corn sileage. He was a very well liked by all who knew him and loved by his wife, children, brothers and sisters,and many nieces and nephews.
