Marion Konstantine

SOUTHINGTON - Marion Konstantine, 100, of Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike, Plantsville section of Southington, died Sunday, Aug. 20, 1995, at St. Mary`s Hospital, Waterbury, of complications due to surgery.

Born in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, April 29, 1895, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Amanda Brown DeBoo and resided in Plantsville since 1961. She was employed as a secretary at Burlington Co., New York City. She was a charter member of the Daughters of the British Empire in New York City, a former member of the Meriden Women`s Club, and a member of the North Meriden Congregation Jehovah`s Witnesses.

She is survived by a nephew, Lloyd Kelly of Austin, Texas. She was predeceased by a brother, Lloyd DeBoo, and three sister, Jean Kelly, Helen Foley and Elsa DeBoo.

Gravesides services will be held Wednesday 3 p.m. at Walnut Grove, Meriden. Thomas Balogh and Jay Mitchell of the Jehovah`s Witnessess will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. If friends desire, contributions in Mrs. Konstantine`s memory may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah`s Witnessess, 410 Main St., South Meriden, CT 06451.
