Mrs. Harriet E. Barth of Edison Ave. and 59th St., died at 6:50 a.m. today in Mercy Hospital, where she was admitted Sunday, after an extended illness.

She was born on Aug. 23, 1900, in Duncansville, a daughter of Lloyd and Martha (Painter) Hammel, and in 1918 married Herman B. Barth, who died Aug. 4, 1948.

Surviving are three children, Mrs. Hilda M. Harris and Mrs. Marie K. Stiffler of the city and Herman P. in the Navy at Cuba; four grandchildren and six brothers and sisters, Mrs. Sadie Conner of Duncansville, Mrs. Martha Robinson in Alaska, Mrs. Nellie Magil, Nelson and Mrs. Ella Mae Dively of the city, and Carl of Pittsfield, Mass.

She was of the Methodist faith.

Friends may call at the home after 7 p.m. tomorrow.
