Hilda Mae Harris, 66, of Box 120, RD 2, died at 10:20 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 1985, in Altoona Hospital.
She was born Feb. 19, 1919, in Altoona, the daughter of Herman and Harriet (Hammel) Barth, and married Harry I. Harris, who died in December 1967.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda M. Wombacher, with whom she resided, and a grandson. Also surviving are a sister and brother: Marie Catherine Benedetto of Harrisburg and Herman Paul of State College.
Mrs. Harris was a member of the Fifty-Eighth Street United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home, Broad Avenue.
HARRIS – Services for Hilda Mae HARRIS of Box 120, RD 2, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc., BROAD AVENUE, by the Rev. Charles Zimmerman. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Also surviving are a nephew, Frederick Stiffler; two nieces, Christi Benedetto and Pauline Khalouf, and an aunt, Ella Mae Diveley.
