Mrs. Frances C. Brightbill, wife of George W. Brightbill of 144A Broad street, Hollidaysburg, died this morning at 5:10 o'clock at Mercy Hospital after a short illness. She was born at Green Park, Perry County, Sept. 25, 1882, the daughter of John A. and Sadie Stambaugh. Surviving are her husband and mother, Mrs. J.A. Stambaugh of Elliottsburg, PA, and these children: Mrs. Claire Webb of Duncansville, Mrs. Isabell Diehl of Claysburg, Mrs. Mary Hoenstine of Claysburg, George B. Brightbill of Claysburg, John Brightbill of Newport, Earl Brightbill of New Orleans, LA, Mrs. Frances Lingenfelter of Altoona, William Brightbill of Baltimore, Mrs. Helen Salyards and Donna Brightbill both at home; these sisters, Mrs. Edward Hench of Elliottsville, Mrs. Jennie Burd of Harrisburg, Mrs. William Reisinger of Newport, Mrs. Roy Peters of Espers, Mrs. Bruce Kistler of Palmyra, NY; these brothers Edgar Stambaugh, of Green Park, William Stambaugh of Harrisburg; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of God of Hollidaysburg. Friends will be received in Hollidaysburg after Thursday noon at the Creamer, Van Allman and Plank Funeral Home.
Brightbill - Funeral services for Mrs. Frances C. Brightbill of Broad St. Hollidaysburg, will be held in Church of God, Hollidaysburg in charge of Rev. W. N. Wright, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends are being received at the Creamer, Van Allman and Plank Funeral Home.
