Mrs. Helen Hadley, 77, of 424 N. Fourth St., died at 10:00 am Tuesday at her residence. She was born Jan. 26, 1912, in Springfield, the daughter of the late Stephen T. and Mary A. Student Moore.
Preceding her in death was one brother, Richard J. Moore, in 1987.
A lifelong resident of Springfield and a former employee of St. John's Hospital, Mrs. Hadley was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church.
Surviving are two brothers, Thomas J. Moore of Springfield and Stephen T. Moore Jr. of Covina, Calif.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Ss. Peter and Paul's Church, with the Rev. Frank J. O'Hara officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Staab Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
