Dosalina was wife to Dominic (Domenico) Carraro. She and Dominic left Italy for Brazil in 1889, where they were married in about 1900. They returned to Italy and then immigrated to the United States, arriving August 31, 1907.

Dominic and Dosalina Guadanini Carraro first settled in the area around Stambaugh, Michigan, and later moved to Chicago, Illinois. While in Michigan, Dominic worked for the Verona Mining Company in Palatka.

Dominic's mother is buried in Stambaugh Cemetery in Michigan. Pietro and Luigi, two of Dominic's brothers moved south or Little Italy, Arkansas. These two brothers and family are buried in St. Francis Cemetery in Perry County, Arkansas.
