Little Ruth Patty was only 3 days old when she passed away on a farm near Liberty, Lincoln County, WA.

Her father was Jeremiah Calloway "Cal" Patty born December 1869 in Arkansas. Cal died at the age of 78 on the 4 October 1948 Everett, Snohomish County, WA. Her mother, Georgia (Fish) Patty born 3 April 1879 in Maine and she died April 1967 in Everett, Snohomish County, WA. They were married 7 July 1897 King County, WA. His residence was listed as Harrington, WA and her residence was Houghton, King County, WA. Her father was John Fish who died at the age of 78 on 24 October 1897 at Houghton, WA and her mother, Abigail "Abbie" (Stuart) Houghton died at the age of 78 on the 22 October 1913 King County, WA.

Her grandfather was John B. Patty and her grandmother, Mary Jane (Howard) Patty. 1870 they were living Carrollton, Carroll County, Arkansas. John was about 33 years old born in Tennessee and a farmer. Mary was about 26 years old and born in Missouri. Cal was listed as Jemey C. age 4 months.

John decided to move west, and on 20 April 1884,in a covered wagon with their nine children, started the long overland trip. The first week in September the wagon party arrived in the Grand Round Valley in Oregon. In 1886 the Pattys moved to Harrington, WA.

On the 13 October 1898 Callaway Patty obtained 160 acres of land from the Homestead Act of 1862.

1900 Calaway and his wife were enumerated in the United States Federal Census at Liberty, Lincoln County, WA where they were farming

1910 Cal J. and Georgia Patty were living at Kirkland, King County, WA with children; Willie E., Doris O., Ione L. and Eula A. Patty.

1920 Cal & Georgia Patty were living in Snohomish County, WA with children William, Doris, Ione and Eula Patty.
