Helen came to Canada with her family in November 1926, settling in Drumheller, Alberta and later in Didsbury, Southern Alberta.
Upon leaving home, she did house work in Drumheller then she moved to Calgary to work at the hopsital.
She married Emmanuel in Calgary on July 18, 1947.
They moved to Vancouver, B.C. in August 1947. Helen worked at Woodward’s downtown store until she retired in 1974.
Helen and Emmanuel moved to Clearbrook, B.C. in 1981 to live out their retirement years. They both did volunteer work at the Clearbrook Goldenage Society and Helen joined the ceramics class.
Died at Abbotsford Regional Hospital in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
