Mrs. Shaver died Satruday, November 6, 1999, at East Texas Medical Center in Crockett. She was born November 16, 1900, in Cherokee County to George W. and Cynthia Allen Robinson. Mrs. Shaver was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Grapeland.
Mrs. Shaver was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Shaver in 1973; four sons, Ivan Shaver, Harrel Shaver, Darrel Shaver and Wayland Shaver; two daughters-in-law, Tince Shaver and Rena Shaver.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Vivian and Jack Story of Tyler; a son, Elwood Shaver of Conroe; three daughters-in-law, Bobbie Shaver of Grapeland, June Shaver of Arlington, June Shaver of Arlington, and Thelma Shaver of Conroe; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
