Billy Gene, 72, of Choctaw, passed away Sunday, July 31, 1994. Born December 3, 1921 in OKC to Arthur and Edna (Gehring) Parmelee. He served with the 45th Infantry, Okla. Thunderbird Division in Germany during WWII. After living most of his life in the Capitol Hill area, he came to Choctaw in 1988. He is survived by a son, Billy G. Parmelee, Jr. of the home; brother, Robert Lee Parmelee of Muskogee; 3 sisters, Arta Stone of OKC, Aletha June Moore of OKC and Edna Christine Shannonhouse of OKC; 3 grandchildren, Todd, Treva and Tracey; one great grandson, Tyler; 7 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Pamela Faye; and a sister, Margaret Johnson. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 5, 1994 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with burial at Arlington Memory Gardens.
