COLUMBUS - Cayce Anthony, 88, died Oct. 2, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus. He was born June 30, 1920, in Eustes, Texas. He worked as a draftsman at Babcock & Wilcox Manufacturing Company for 30 years and was a member of Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Oktibbeha County. He was a veteran of World War II.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Ed Easley and Elder David Blair officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Webster County. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Daisy Latham Anthony of Columbus; one daughter, Jean Anthony Pekofsky (Mel) of Hertford, N.C.; one son, Billy W. Anthony (Gena) of Columbus; one sister, Valera Tindall of Eupora; four grandchildren, Steve Swetz, Michael Swetz (Cindy), Laura Anthony Black and Reagan Anthony Pounders (Josh); and three great-grandchildren, Alissa and Ethan Black and Haven Swetz.

Visitation was Saturday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
