Amelia Thornton Succumbs at 76.

Mrs. Amelia Keil Thornton 76, of 350 Ellis, died Thursday at a Lerned Hospital.

She was born August 16, 1886, at Wichita. She was a retired employs of Wichita Laudry. She was married to David W. Thornton July 19, 1933 at Neton Ksn. He died in 1953.

She was a member of the Latheran church. Her parents Home steaded the corner of Oliver and Kellog in 1884. They were the Mr. and Mrs. John Keil.

Byrd-Snodgrass Funeral Home has charge of arrangement.

Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia Keil Thornton 76, Larned Kan., who died there Thursday, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Byrd-Snodgrass Funeral Home here.

Samuel G. Widiger, Lutheran Chaplain, will officate.

Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Honorary 6 casket bearers will be J. C. Hollingsworth. Forney Harris, Luther Metzger, Floyd Gray. Leo Wells Merle Godfrey and Ralph Polson.

Active casket bearers will be Martin Knoblauch, Harold Rose, Eddie Millier, Lee Herron, John Rebenspies and C. D. Jockers.
