FAIRVIEW - Mabel Rogers Rawlings, 87, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at the Franklin County Transitional Care Center in Preston, Idaho. She was born Dec. 5, 1920, in Lewiston, Utah, the daughter of Nephi Noah and Charlotte Amelia Van Orden Rogers. She married Glen Sorensen Rawlings on Feb. 21, 1943, in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1991. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having served in all of the auxiliaries. She was an extraction worker for many years at the Family History Center in Franklin, Idaho. She loved family activities and she especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters, Ronald Rawlings of Salt Lake City, Utah, Dwight (Brenda) Rawlings of Montrose, Colo., Marilyn Rawlings of Preston, Idaho, Ken (Denice) Rawlings of Arimo, Idaho, DeAnn (Richard) Avery of Sunset, Utah; by 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Interment Fairview Cemetery.
