84, of North Adams, Michigan passed away Sunday, October 5, 2008 at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility.
He was born September 20, 1924 to William and Lily Kline. He served in the European Theatre in World War II. On April 21, 1951 he married Carolyn Hoffman and he was a life long farmer in the North Adams area.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn; a son, Mark (Linda) Kline and a son-in-law, Larry Christian. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Christian.
He is also survived by four sisters, Freida Wall, Cora Hinkle, Maxine Randall and Donna Stanlake and eight grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. William "Bill" Kline will be held at the Hampton-Kurtz Funeral Home in Hillsdale on Thursday, October 9th at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Paul Pickell officiating. Interment will take place in the Northlawn Cemetery in North Adams. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, October 8th from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility, Hospice of Hillsdale County or to the Hillsdale County Senior Service Center.∼PFC, U.S. Army, WW II.
