Abraham Conroy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Conroy, now of Brighton, NE, but for many years residents of this county died at the home of his parents at Brighton, Monday Oct 11th.
Abraham had been working away from home and came home to rest for a short time, complaining some what of feeling ill but considering it nothing serious. The dreaded disease typhoid fever, was gradually working its destruction and he took to his bed and bravely fought for three weeks against its ravages; and witht he best medical aid available everyting was done to save his life but all in vain. For a time he seemingly was holding his own, but he took a relapse which developed into hemorrhage of the stomach and which was the direct cause of his death. Mr. Conroy was twenty-six years old and was a good promising steady young man. His death is sorely felt by his fond parents, brothers and sister who servive him, a well as many relatives living in the county.
William and Hugh Neville, of this city, uncles of the deceased attended the funeral which was held at Eddyville Nebraska on Thrusday,.
The bevreaved family have the sincere synmpathy of many friend here who are grieved to learn of this sad death.
