MRS. SALLIE HALL, CIVIC WORKER, DIES IN HOSPITAL

Mrs. Sallie Graham Hall, 53, socially prominent club and civic worker, died at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon in a local hospital, following a lingering illness.

A native of Charlotte, N.C., she came to St. Petersburg 10 years ago from Lincolnton, N.C., and had taken an active part in patriotic circles and organization work. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church, of Dixie Chapter UDC, and of the St. Petersburg Garden club. She formerly belonged to the Mecklenburg Signers chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

In 1907 she was married to Percival Hall.

Mrs. Hall was the granddaughter of the late Gov. William A. Graham of North Carolina, who served as secretary of the Navy under Filmore and as senator for North Carolina in the Confederate States senate.

Mrs. Hall is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Francis Langley and Mrs. T.W. Clarkson, both of St. Petersburg: two grandchildren, Ann Carter Langley and James Nelson Langley, and one brother, Eugene B. Graham of Charlotte.

A funeral service be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning in the John S. Rhodes chapel. The Rev. Dr. J. A. McClure will officiate.

Burial is to be in Royal Palm cemetery.
