Mary Lavina Boren Lloyd, 78, our loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away quietly on October 15, 1998.

Born February 18, 1920 in Bountiful, Utah to William Coleman and Sarah Elanor Warby Boren. She married Cleon Jesse Lloyd in Burley Idaho on March 6, 1938. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on April 4, 1963. Mary was an active member of the LDS Church, teaching in the MIA and Primary and serving in the Relief Society. She was an avid bowler participating in many leagues and worked as an Avon representative. She loved to crochet and knit and her handiwork was distributed through Mormon Handicraft. Mary gave selfless service to her family, friends and neighbors.

Survivors: husband, C. Jesse, Midvale; children, Cleon Ralph Lloyd (DeAnna), Midvale; Philip Kay Lloyd (Mary Jo), Sandy; Shirley Jean Lloyd, Midvale; Janet Christensen (Micheal), West Jordan; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, Ardella Ferrin, Riverton; Lloyd Keith Boren, Phoenix, Arizona; Ila Jarvis (John), Bountiful. Preceded in death by brothers, Melvin and Calvin.
