In the presence of loving family, Sarah Ardella Walker, age 94, passed from this life on April 22, 2003 at Pleasant Acres Extended Care in Delta, Utah where she was lovingly cared for during the last two years of her life.

Sarah Ardella Boren eldest daughter of William Coleman "Bill" Boren, Jr. and Sarah Eleanor Warby, was born on May 29, 1908 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She spent her childhood years in Hams Fork, Wyoming and in Manila, Utah. While attending and graduating from Lyman High School in Lyman, Wyoming, she met her eternal sweetheart Leo C. "Jake" Walker. They Married on September 9, 1927 in Manila, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. All of their married life was spent in Green River, Wyoming where she was known as a wonderful seamstress and homemaker.

They were active in the community and the LDS Church where she filled positions as primary President and Relief Society President.

Her husband Leo C. Walker; two infant children, Duane and Mildred; a son LTC Lloyd C. Walker and his wife Christine, a son-in-law, Ben Miller; preceded her in death, as well as a second husband, Leo J. Ferrin, whom she married on October 2, 1967 in Bountiful, Utah.

She is survived by one son, Jlowell(Elaine) Walker of Rawlins, Wyoming and Southern California; two daughters, Delma Jean Miller of Rock Springs, WY, and Janice Kay (Jim) Tippetts of Riverton, UT; a brother, Lloyd Keith Boren of Phoenix, AZ; a sister Ila Jarvis of Bountiful; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched and will be remembered by everyone who knew her as a "true lady."

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Monday April 28, 2003 at the Lyman LDS Chapel, where friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until time of services. Interment, in the Lyman Cemetery. Fox Funeral Home, Rock Springs, funeral directors.
