This was recorded in the Morning Star, Rockford, Illinois, Sunday, October 11, 1908.

MISS EDNA RUTLEDGE and Mr. Aaron A. Culler, the latter of Chicago, were united in marriage at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Sophia G. Shoudy in North Second Street at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Simplicity and quietude marked the home wedding, which was witnessed by only the immediate relatives. Rev. J.H. Culler of Watakonet, Ohio, read the service. The Shoudy home was massed with the choicest offerings of the season, autumn leaves and cut flowers being employed in the arrangement of the wedding setting. Little Barbara Hamilton as flower girl, and Doris Shoudy as ringbearer, with Masters Buddie and David Shoudy as ribbonbearers, completed the bridal party. The bride was attired in an empire gown of India mull with trimmings of duchess and point lace. The bride is known to many in Rockford, having made her home in this city for several years, during part of which time she was a teacher in the public school, making her home with Mrs. Shoudy. For the past several years she was teacher of science at Buchanan, Michigan. She is an accomplished young woman and possessed of excellent traits of character. Mr. Culler is a Chicago architect and after November 1 will be at home with his bride in Edgewater. Following the ceremony and congratulations, the bridal party and guests enjoyed a wedding dinner at the F.G. Shoudy home. Miss Martha Culler and Mr. Eugene Culler of Mansfield, Ohio, were here for the ceremony.
