BOUNTIFUL - Arvilla Duke Lindsay Epperson, age 91, died peacefully July 1, 1998 in Bountiful, Utah.

Arvilla was born October 22, 1906 in Heber City, Utah, a daughter of Elisha J. Duke and Malinda Cummings. Married Richard Lindsay, December 16, 1925, he died December 15, 1937. Worked for many years at the Heber Mercantile, where she met and married Wallace Haloy Epperson on October 2, 1942. Traveled with her husband to various military assignments including Hawaii. Loved to travel and enjoyed many cruises in various locations around the world. Worked for more than 20 years at Auerbachs Department Store as the manager for the television, radio and record department. Enjoyed working at Auerbachs, where she established and maintained many precious and enduring friendships. She was loved by all, especially her family, will be missed greatly by all, especially her family.

She is survived by her husband, Wallace of Bountiful; her son, James L. Lindsay of California; three grandsons, eight great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister, one grandson and one great-granddaughter.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 7, 1998 at 2:30 p.m. at the Heber City Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, July 7, 1998 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon at the Bountiful 23rd Ward, 2200 South 650 East, Bountiful. Services in the care of Olpin Mortuary, Heber City, Utah.
