Muncy - Mrs. Geraldine C. Rupert, 82, the wife of Earl E. Rupert, of 502 South Market Street, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 1983, in the geriatric unit of Muncy Valley Hospital;, wher she had been a resident since 1972.
Born Jan. 19, 1902, in McHenry Twp., she was a daughter of Judson and Mar Bonnell Campbell.
Mrs. Rupert was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran CHurch here and of the Women of the St. Andrew's Church. She taught Sunday School at the church for number of years.
A graduate of Muncy Normal School, she had been a school teacher in the former Montgomery-Clinton School District and Jersey Shore School District.
She was a member of Muncy Chapter 481, Order of the Eastern Star, Muncy Historical Society, Muncy Garden Club and Tuesday Study Club, Muncy.
Surviving, besides her husband are two sons, E. Eugene, of Dallas Texas, and Harold C., of Muncy; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Gressley, of Muncy; four grand-children and four great-grand-children.
The funeral will be at 11a.m. Monday at Wallis', 121 South Main Street, with the Rev. Dale Johnson, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Muncy Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 to 11a.m. Monday.
