Joel Zingg, 96,, Taken By Death
Wayland - Joel Zingg, died at 11 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sam Van Syoc of Milton,where he had resided for the past month.
He was born near Woodstock, Ontario, Canada February 16, 1854 and moved to Henry county in 1865 where he has lived continuously. He was united in marriage August 20, 1876. He was preceded in death by his wife, one daughter and one son.
Surviving is one son, Homer of near Olds, three daughters, Mrs. Sam Van Syoc, of Milton; Mrs. Charlie Meek of Brighton and Mrs. Paul Mast of Washington.
He was a member of the Wayland Methodist church. Following the death of his wife, he made his home with his grandosn, Wade Huffman and family until about a month ago.
