Mrs. Rachel Goss, a former resident of Chazy, died at the residence of her son, Mr.Jackson Goss, at Canaan.N.H.,Jan.29,1901,of pneumonia,
after a,short illness,in her 78th year. Her remains, accompanied by her son.in whose home she died,arrived at Chazy on the Thursday morning train and were taken to the M.E.church where a service was held at one o'clock, Rev.S. D.Elkins officiating,and were buried by the
side of her husband,Horace Goss, in the village cemetery.
