Frances A. Hogle married Burton Whiting Bidlack - 3 Dec 1872 in Delaware County, Ohio.
Mrs. Frances Hogle Bidlack died last Sunday morning about 6:30, of heart disease. The end came suddenly, while she was sitting in a chair. She had been ailing for some time, but was able to be in Paulding the day before. The family reside on the Ortman farm on the Cecil Pike. Deceased leaves her husband, B. W. Bidlack, four sons and four daughters to morn their loss. She was aged 65 years. The funeral was held Wednsday afternoon at 1:30 at the Paulding Methodist Church and interment in Live Oak Cemetery, Rev. A. H. Weaver officiating.
**An obituary appeared on the same day (March 16, 1916) in
another Paulding paper called the Republican, as follows:
Mrs. Frances (sic) Hogle Bidlack was born July 15th, 1850, near Mt. Vernon, Ohio; forty three years ago she was united in marriage with Mr. B. W. Bidlack. To this union were born eight children, four boys and four girls, all of whom with their father and husband survive her.
Mrs. Bidlack was liberally endowed with the choice virtues and qualities which are found in every noble woman.
She was industrious, ambitious, economical; charitable, neighborly and kind. All her neighbors and friends regarded her very highly because of her character and disposition and her courtesy and cordiality with which she treated them.
She was a devoted wife and a most considerate, sacrificing and motherly mother. Her children will praise her in the gates and rise up to call her blessed.
Some years ago she committed her life to Christ and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church. Although afflicted for several years, the end came suddenly and unexpectedly.
By her departure, she leaves to mourn, her husband, eight children, three grandchildren, one sister, and a large number of other relatives and friends.
