EDWARD BIDLACK DIED OF INJURIES
Received in an Automobile Turn Over on Cecil Road Caused By a Skid
John and Edward Bidlack, accompanied by a lady friend, Mrs. Anna Dicke, 44 of 120 Fourteenth street, Toledo, drove down here Sunday for a brief visit with their brother Emory Bidlack, who resides in Paulding.
In the afternoon they started to drive home in their Overland tour the country to determine the details when just north of Six Mile Creek bridge their car skidded in some loose gravel or crushed stone, with which the road is temporarily covered and turned over.
Edward Bidlack suffered a fracture at the base of the skull and other brusies, and the lady had a fractured shoulder. John escaped serious injury though considerably bruised.
C. F. Crowell's ambulance was summoned and, conveyed the injured people to the hospital at Defiance.
Edward Bidlack's injuries proved fatal and he passed away Sunday evening about 8:50.
Deceased was aged 48 years and has no family, though once married. His two brothers, above mentioned are also single. His sister is Mrs. Bert Klunk, now of Marion, Ind.
Their car's damage seemed to be limited to a demolished top.
Bidlack family formerly resided in Paulding and are well known to a number of people here.
Funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Crowell Funeral Home, Paulding conducted by Rev. H. A. Rothrock and interment in Live Oak cemetery.
