ALFRED GADDA FOUND DEAD NEAR HOSPITAL
Failing Health Blamed for Sucide By Investigators
The body of Alfred Gadda, 25 year old Reno resident was found hanging from a hay derrick on the Rosasco Ranch east of Reno yesterday morning. Investigating officers said he had committed suicide because of ill health.
LEAVES HOSPITAL
Gadda had been undergoing treatment at the Washoe General Hospital, and it is believed he left the hospital about 2 a.m., going directly to the ranch where he apparently hanged himself. Attendants noticed he was missing from the hospital at 2 a.m., and a search for him was unsuccessful.
When found, shortly after 7 a.m., the man, according to officers, had been dead several hours. They said he had apparently hanged himself immediately after leaving the hospital.
RITES SCHEDULED
Gadda, a native of Hobart Mills, Cal., came to Reno as a child and attended the local schools. His health had been failing for some time.
He is survived by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gadda; three brothers, William, George and Henry Gadda and two sisters, Dolly and Francis Gadda, all of Reno; two uncles Steve Gadda of Reno and Alfonse Gadda of Hobart Mills, Cal., and two nephews and two nieces, Shirley, Wilma, William and George Gadda all of Reno.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the O'Brien-Nugent chapel, with the Rev. F.C. Murgotten officiating. Interment will be in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.
